A person who embarks on the quest of spreading Islam needs to first make an attempt to live as per the teachings of Islam. Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught mostly by what he did more than what he spoke. Only actions can have an everlasting impression on the recipient and be a motivation to absorb the goodness of Islam. Though public lectures and social media posts do have a significant role in taking the word of Islam to doorsteps, it is more of a theoretical approach only. When each Islamic speaker and leader actually practises what he preaches, the response would be indeed overwhelming.
